Meet Dr. Jack Howard

Dr. Jack Howard is a graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences and is a licensed Chiropractic physician. Dr. Jack has experience treating patients of all calibers, working alongside professional athletes and in general population clinics, also donating his time toward helping veterans and under-served communities. He is an Active Release Technique certified practitioner.

A firm believer in evidence-based medicine, Dr. Howard understands that a multi-disciplinary approach often provides fastest and most effective results for patients. Utilizing chiropractic therapy, physiotherapy, exercise and nutrition he aims to help his patients overcome pain through both passive and active treatment modalities.

Before receiving his doctoral degree, Dr. Howard received a Bachelor's degree in Language, Culture and Society from University of California, Santa Barbara. It was through this education that he began garnering the tools for building solid doctor-patient communication, and he now uses this knowledge to help educate his patients, giving them the tools to stay out of pain.

Meet Dr. Cody SooHoo

Dr. Cody SooHoo earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating with summa cum laude honors. Following his education at SCUHS, Dr. SooHoo has had a vision to provide patients with quality healthcare that aims to focus on each patient as a unique individual by tailoring his treatment approach to meet their needs.


The knowledge and training that he has received from SCUHS has been built upon a solid foundation of the science of human movement that began while he pursued an undergraduate degree in kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton. His efforts during this 4 year tenure at CSUF earned him a place in the top 10% of his class, top 10% of his kinesiology major, and summa cum laude honors.

Dr. SooHoo has had experience in various out-patient clinic settings where he has worked closely with people seeking to improve their wellness. It is from these experiences that he truly began to understand the impact that his education and training in both kinesiology and chiropractic could have on improving the overall health and lives of those around him.

A top priority on Dr. SooHoo’s list of challenges to tackle are the negative repercussions that the typical corporate/business workplace is imposing upon the health of those subject to work in biomechanically-poor work environments. It is one of his goals to educate, implement improvements, and improve the health of those who find themselves chronically deskbound.


Dr. SooHoo utilizes various treatment techniques, including:

-Chiropractic adjustments/mobilizations 
-Myofascial release technique (MRT)
-Previous experience with Active Release Technique (ART)
-Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization
-Percussion therapy
-Cox Technique (Module 1)
-Activator Methods (Module 1)

-Athletic and kinesiology taping

Dr. Brittnnie Ramirez recently returned to Los Angeles following her completion of Chiropractic school in the Bay Area in 2021. When she feels like staying indoors, she enjoys puzzles and creating models such as Gundams and Legos. She also enjoys the outdoors on hikes, the beach, spontaneous adventures such as snowboarding, jet skiing and ATV riding, as well as trying new restaurants or food spots— feel free to recommend some!

 

Dr. Ramirez believes that everyone deserves to experience a life of health and ease of mind. She understands the hardship of living life with a constant hesitation for fear of pain or injury and would like to disconnect that fear from a person’s life. Her mission is to unveil to the world what the human body is truly capable of as well as the ability to approach life with no hesitation— mind and body.

 

During her education, Dr. Ramirez has strived to increase her knowledge and experience with training and certifications in Nasal Release Technique, IASTM, taping, cupping, and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP) to provide more variations of care for her patients. She is also certified in the Webster Technique, specializing with prenatal patients and has much experience working with pediatrics. She hopes to further her education in the future to provide more care and opportunity for those with neuromuscular diseases including more research in neurological rehabilitation.
